Control of laser radiation parameters

Formation of the leading edge of an output pulse in a laser with a VO2 mirror

Abstract: A computer simulation is reported of the growth of a pulse in a laser with a controlled VO2 mirror. It is shown that the duration and the profile of the leading edge of an output pulse can be controlled by specifying the initial reflection profile of the VO2 mirror.
