Cineholographic method for interferometric investigation of fast processes
P. Fiala
Abstract:
A holographic method is proposed for recording of objects which change with time. A plane wave scattered by an object reaches a hologram via a scattering plate and a moving slit, which transform the time to the space coordinate. The method is suitable for interferometric investigations of the development of arc discharges. A series of successive states of an object can be recorded as a series of holograms, each of which is exposed for about 40 μsec.
