Abstract: A theoretical analysis is made of the possibility of tuning the emission frequency of a distributed-feedback thin-film laser as a result of interaction of light with an acoustic wave. Self-excitation conditions are obtained for the Bragg reflection of light by an acoustic wave and corrugated sections of a waveguide
