Photoinduced losses in a GSGG:Cr3+:Nd3+ crystal

M. Kh. Ashurov, I. R. Rustamov, V. A. Smirnov, A. F. Umyskov, I. A. Shcherbakov
Abstract: An investigation was made of the influence of the spectral composition of the pump radiation on the spectral luminescence and lasing properties of a GSGG:Cr3+:Nd3+ crystal. The spectrum of excited absorption was determined in the ultraviolet range. The criteria for the determination of the optimal filter cutoff wavelength of the radiation used to pump a pulsed laser were put forward.
