Laser with a titanium-activated corundum active element and acoustooptic tuning of the radiation wavelength

Abstract:
The first experimental investigation was made of the lasing and operational characteristics of a system with a titanium-activated corundum active element and acoustooptic tuning of the emission wavelength. The laser was pumped by the second harmonic (532 nm) of a pulsed YAG laser.
