Absolute determination of the frequencies of CH2F2 laser lines at λ = 214.6 and 184.3 μm

V. F. Zakharyash, V. M. Klementyev, B. A. Timchenko, V. V. Yumin
Abstract: A submillimeter synthesizer was built on the basis of a backward-wave tube. A study was made of the characteristics of an optically pumped CH2F2 laser with an output power of ~ 120 mW at λ = 184.3 μm and 40–60 mW at λ = 214.6 μm. The synthesizer was used in determination of the frequencies at λ = 184.3 and 214.6 μm: ν184 = 1 626 602.95 ± 1.5 MHz and ν214 = 1 397 120.216 ± 1.5 MHz.
