Tunable XeCl laser with high spectral brightness

Abstract: An investigation was made of an electric-discharge XeCl laser consisting of a narrow-band master oscillator and an amplifier containing the same active medium. Radiation with a divergence of 0.3 mrad and a spectral width of 1 pm was generated.
