Determination of the vertical refraction from fluctuations of the angle of arrival of a light beam

Abstract: A method is proposed for the determination of the angle of vertical refraction by measuring fluctuations of the angle of arrival of a light beam. The method can be used to find the mean-integral value of the vertical refraction angle in the case of observations of fixed and mobile objects taking into account the atmospheric turbulence.
