Influence of the emission frequency shift and resonator nonreciprocity on the frequency spectrum of relaxational oscillations in a solid-state ring laser

Abstract:
It was established that the frequencies of relaxational oscillations exhibited by a solid-state traveling-wave ring laser depended on the phase nonreciprocity of the resonator. The results of a theoretical analysis were confirmed by an experiment on a cw YAG:Nd laser.
