Deformation of the absorption edge of zinc selenide by laser radiation

S. V. Gaponenko, V. P. Gribkovskiĭ, L. G. Zimin, N. K. Nikeenko
Abstract: A study was made of the deformation of the absorption spectrum of ZnSe single crystals excited with dye laser radiation of wavelengths 446–458 nm. It was found that the form of the bleaching (transmission-enhancement) spectrum was independent of the exciting light wavelength, indicating that the broadening of the bleached absorption band was homogeneous.
