Fourth Vavilov Conference on Nonlinear Optics (Novosibirsk, June 12–14,1975)

A review is given of the papers presented at the Fourth Vavilov Conference on Nonlinear Optics, held in Novosibirsk on June 12–14, 1975. The main topics at this Conference were nonlinear processes in matter and nonlinear laser spectroscopy, laser separation of isotopes and laser chemistry, short-wavelength lasers, and phase transitions in laser fields. Seventy papers were presented at the Conference and 18 of them were read by foreign specialists.
