Emission of neutral molecules and electrons from the surface of an insulator by laser radiation
È. F. Zapechel'nyuk, B. S. Mikhailov, R. B. Tagirov
Abstract:
An investigation was made of the kinetics of emission of neutral molecules from the surface of molybdenum glass in vacuum due to irradiation with neodymium laser pulses of millisecond duration. There were considerable changes in the emission kinetics when the glass was irradiated repeatedly with constant-energy pulses. Emission of electrons accompanied the emission of neutral molecules.
