Visible and ultraviolet emission from a plasma focus of a magnetic compressor

Abstract:
An investigation was made of the radiation emitted in the wavelength range 1500–200 nm from a focus of a magnetic erosion plasma compressor. It was found that a discharge of this type was a promising optical laser-pumping source.
