Abstract:
It was found experimentally that a resonant periodic profile on the surface of polycrystalline BeO produced a gap of 30 cm– 1 width in the dispersion curve of surface polaritons in the region of 930 cm– 1. This made it possible to control the infrared reflection spectra of optically rough BeO in the region of the emission frequency of a CO2 laser.
