Optical stimulation of electron-positron annihilation (experimental possibilities)

L. A. Rivlin
Full-text PDF (736 kB) Citations (1)
Abstract: A theoretical analysis is made of the effect of high-intensity laser radiation on positronium or on free electrons and positrons. Spontaneous-stimulated annihilation and anti-Stokes Raman scattering accompanied by annihilation are predicted. Estimates are obtained to illustrate the feasibility of experimental detection of these effects.
