Abstract: Stimulated emission characteristics of an Ar+N2 electron-beam-excited ultraviolet laser were investigated in the temperature range 100–500°K. A kinetic model of the laser describing stimulated emission dynamics by rate equations was developed. The dependences of the output power on the pressure, temperature, and composition of the active mixture were calculated. The results of such calculations were in agreement with the experimental dependences.
