Abstract:
Stimulated emission was obtained from a mixture of copper vapor and neon in a radial transverse discharge formed between coaxial cylindrical electrodes. The average output power was 0.5 W when the repetition frequency of the pump pulses was 1 kHz. The laser efficiency was 0.3%.
