Abstract:
An experimental laser system was built in which a mixture of copper vapor and neon pumped by transverse pulse discharges. The system included a laser cell and pulse generator producing pulses of 100 nsec duration and 1 kHz repetition.frequency. An average output power at λ = 510.6 nm was 100 mW and the specific energy output was 8X10–6 J/cm3.
