Amplification of YAG:Nd laser radiation in neodymium glass and generation of high-power fourth harmonic

Abstract:
An experimental study was made of the amplification of YAG: Nd laser radiation in neodymium glass (gain k = 50) and of subsequent conversion of this radiation into a stable fourth harmonic of 6.5 ± 1.5 MW power.
