Slot method of extraction of radiation from a laser resonator

Abstract: The results are given of an experimental investigation of the energy and angular characteristics of ruby and neodymium glass lasers when radiation is extracted through a slot in a resonator mirror. A theory of multimode emission is used in an analysis of the angular structure of the laser radiation.
