Investigation of atmospheric fluctuations of the intensity of λ = 0.63 and 10.6 μ laser radiation

V. È. Vikhalem, A. A. Taklaya, Kh. V. Khinrikus
Abstract: An experimental investigation was made of the distribution, variance, and frequency spectra of the intensity fluctuations of λ = 0.63 and 10.6 μ radiation propagating in a turbulent atmosphere and detected using receivers of different apertures. It is shown that under saturation conditions there is little difference between the parameters of fluctuations at the two wavelengths.
