Abstract: An expression is obtained for the electron energy distribution function of an He-Ne plasma excited in a high-frequency discharge. The dependence of this distribution function on the parameters of the electric field and active medium is considered. It is shown that the number of fast electrons in the discharge increases when the field is increased and when the frequency or pressure are reduced.
