Abstract:
An investigation was made of the stimulated emission due to transitions in copper atoms excited by pulse discharges in cuprous halide vapors. The repetition frequency of the pulses reached 20 kHz. The dependence of the output power on the conditions in the gas discharges was determined. The output characteristics were similar to those obtained for discharges in copper vapor.
