Imidization of polyamide acid by laser radiation

S. G. Il'yasov, I. N. Kal'vina, G. A. Kyulyan, V. F. Moskalenko, E. P. Ostapchenko
Abstract: An investigation was made of the influence of laser radiation on the degree of completion of the imidization of a polyamide acid, prepared from dianhydride of pyromellitic acid and 4,4''-diaminodiphenyl ester in dimethylformamide. The influence of the laser radiation was attributed to a "resonant situation" in the vibrations of the end groups.
