Action of laser radiation on mucous lining of the stomach

Abstract: An experimental study was made of the action of cw CO2 laser radiation in acute experiments on the mucous lining of the stomach of rabbits. It was found that laser radiation with certain parameters caused necrosis of the mucosa without disturbing the other layers of the stomach wall.
