Abstract:
Continuous tuning of the emission wavelength of a neodymium-glass pulse laser was achieved by using a dispersive prism in combination with an electrooptic deflector inside the resonator. Variation of the control electric field within the range ±50 kV/cm provided a frequency tuning range of 12 nm. Possible methods for increasing the rate of tuning and the spectral brightness of the laser were considered.
