Antimatter as a source of negative-temperature states
L. A. Rivlin
Abstract:
It is shown that a negative-temperature state may be established in a system composed of particles and antiparticles when the concentration of the latter reaches a certain value. Estimates indicate the possibility of experimental realization of a negative-temperature state when a positron packet reaches a target.
