Radiation sources for fiber-optic communication lines with wavelength-division multiplexing of data channels in the range 1.3–1.6 μm

Abstract:
Single-mode emission from a GaAsInP–InP semiconductor laser with an external dispersive resonator was investigated. An injection laser with a diffracting grating was found to be a promising source for the transmission modules to be used in fiber-optic communication lines.
