Nonlinear optical system for measuring the mobility in a solution exhibiting stratification

N. P. Kitaev, Yu. P. Svirko, K. F. Shipilov
Abstract: A laser interference method was used to investigate the concentration-dependent nonlinear properties of a solution of 2,6-lutidine in water exhibiting stratification. An analysis of the experimental results made it possible to estimate the upper limit of the kinetic mobility in a solution (~ 10–5 g · s–1 ·cm–3) .
