Interference between waveguide modes on reflection of light from the surface of a corrugated waveguide
I. A. Avrutskiĭ, V. A. Sychugov
Abstract:
An investigation is made of the influence of the phase shift between corrugations on both sides of a waveguide on the anomalous reflection of light incident at right-angles to the waveguide surface. It is shown that the differences between the behavior of the short- and long-wavelength reflection peaks are due to the relative distributions of the interference maxima and minima of the waveguide modes and corrugations.
