Determination of the contrast of radiation emitted by a neodymium laser with a phase-conjugation mirror in an oscillator–amplifier system

Abstract:
The contrast, against the background of Q switching of radiation from a neodymium laser with a phase-conjugation mirror, was determined in an oscillator–amplifier system. The mirror ensured contrast enhancement by a factor of 102–103, which was in agreement with calculations.
