Abstract: Laser radiation of λ = 10.6 μ. wavelength was emitted from a supersonic stream as a result of burning of a CO+0.5O2+He+H2 mixture. It was established that the excited CO2 molecules were formed as a result of a chemical reaction. A comparison was made of some of the characteristics with those of a gasdynamic CO+0.5O2+N2+H2 laser.
