Abstract: An investigation was made of the parameters of an ultraviolet source emitting periodic pulses in which a dye laser was pumped by a nitrogen gas laser and the conversion was performed in new nonlinear crystals. The maximum conversion efficiency exceeding 30% was obtained for lithium iodate.
