High-power multielement longitudinally pumped semiconductor laser

Abstract: A description is given of the construction of a multielement laser pumped longitudinally by an electron beam. The output power was 2.3 MW in the form of 100 nsec pulses. The efficiency was 2.5% and the angular divergence was 10°.
