Abstract: The results are given of measurements of the optical characteristics of cerium scandium borate crystals. A study is reported of the influence of the activator ion on the efficiency of conversion of stimulated radiation to the second harmonic. It is shown that neodymium-activated crystals can be used as nonlinear active elements in diode-pumped lasers.
