Some results of optimization of the compositions of active media and working parameters of a gas-discharge CO laser

Abstract:
Parameters of a fast-flow CO laser with a longitudinal discharge were optimized. The best results obtained were as follows: an output power of ~850W, a specific output energy ~1.3 kJ/g, and an efficiency of ~44%.
