Abstract:
The method of nuclear gamma resonance (NGR) spectroscopy was used in an investigation of iron-doped lithium metaniobate crystals of variable composition. The NGR spectra yielded the type of impurity centers and their relative concentrations. A mechanism of charge compensation of iron was suggested for these crystals.
