X-ray laser with a distributed feedback: output power and coherence

Abstract:
A theoretical analysis is made of the energy and statistical characteristics of a distributed-feedback laser. Estimates are made of the output energy and times needed to establish a practically complete coherence of the output radiation in the x-ray wavelength range.
