Abstract: A proposal is made for a nonlinear panoramic spectrograph with divergent pumping and a preliminary spatial and frequency resolution of the investigated radiation. Expressions are obtained for the spectral resolution and dispersion. It is shown that a resolution of 0.1 cm–1 may be expected in the ~10 μ range. An analysis is made of the influence of nonmonochromatic pumping and divergence of infrared radiation of the spectral resolution.
