Abstract: A theoretical investigation is made of continuous intraresonator parametric frequency conversion in a nonlinear crystal under variable pumping conditions. It is shown that there is a limiting signal intensity at which 100% conversion (in respect of the number of photons) is still possible. The dependence of the shortest optimal length of a crystal on the pump and signal intensities is investigated.
