Abstract: The laser action was achieved as a result of the initiation of chemical reactions in SF6 + H2, SF6 + C3H8, and SF6 + D2 mixtures by pulse CO2 laser radiation. The emission spectrum was recorded and tuning was achieved by selecting one vibration-rotational transition in the range 3200–3700 cm–1 in the case of HF and in the range 2450–2650 cm–1 in the case of DF.
