Abstract: Stimulated emission was observed as a result of the 4I11/24I13/2 transition in CaF2:Er3+ crystals at room temperature. The emission was observed under Q-switching conditions and the radiation was in the form of the TEM00 mode of 0.13 J energy. The pulse duration was 30 nsec.
