Some features of the spectral distribution of the stimulated Raman scattering in substances with small Kerr constants

The spectral distribution of first Stokes component of the stimulated Raman scattering in calcite was investigated as a function of temperature. The distribution was a series of periodically distributed components. The temperature dependences of the total width of the spectral distribution and of the finestructure period were determined. The results obtained were analyzed.
