Full-text PDF (778 kB) Citations (7)
Abstract: Stimulated infrared emission due to 13 transitions in barium vapor was obtained as a result of pulse excitation of a discharge. The stimulated emission was mainly due to transitions from a resonance to a metastable level. The integrated average output power was 1.6 W and the efficiency was 0.28%.
