Use of nematic liquid crystals in recording long-wavelength radiation
L. M. Klyukin, I. D. Samodurova, A. S. Sonin
Abstract:
A method for recording infrared laser radiation was developed. In this method a thin film (10–50 μ) of a nematic liquid crystal, which scattered light under the influence of an electric field, became transparent in the illuminated areas.
