Two-frequency dye laser with a Michelson resonator

Abstract:
An experimental investigation was made of a two-frequency dye laser with a Michelson mode selector. It was found that, by using this system, a two-frequency regime could be achieved with a small number of intracavity elements and the laser efficiency could be improved to 11 % when the pump power was 2.8 W.
