Correlation methods for investigating the parameters of radiation emitted by a mode-locked laser

V. S. Dneprovskii, E. K. Silina, V. U. Khattatov
Abstract: Descriptions are given of two methods for measuring the effective duration of ultrashort pulses: One is based on the two-photon efficiency in a semiconductor correlator and the other is based on the reactive effect in second-harmonic generation. These methods were used to study the output parameters of a modelocked laser with ring and linear resonators.
