Abstract:
A derivation is given of an equation describing resonant buildup of surface oscillations of a liquid drop by an incident electromagnetic wave. Estimates are obtained of the possibility of using ruby and CO2 laser radiation for the buildup of surface oscillations of a liquid drop.
