Investigation of principal characteristics of a laser projection microscope

K. I. Zemskov, A. A. Isaev, M. A. Kazaryan, G. G. Petrash
Abstract: An analysis is made of the possibility of using high-gain active elements as amplifiers in optical systems. The requirements that such active elements would have to satisfy are formulated. The results are given of investigations of the principal characteristics of a laser projection microscope in which the amplifying element is the active medium of a copper vapor pulse laser.
