Experimental investigation of nonreciprocal effects in a glass fiber ring interferometer
S. A. Gordon, V. N. Logozinskii, A. G. Novikov
Abstract:
It was found experimentally that spatial and polarization filtering of the oppositely traveling waves in a glass fiber ring interferometer reduces considerably the magnitude of the initial nonreciprocal phase shift caused by imperfections in the matching system and irregularities in the glass fiber.
